I agree that there are a lot of “time wasters” out there. A subscription fee is always a great way to weed these people out. Multiple pictures is a great idea too – I wouldn’t stay on a profile very long if there was only one picture (and usually those are the people that post a low-pixel picture so you can’t really tell what they look like). And always be honest in your profile, there’s no point in misrepresenting yourself and wasting yours and your possible partner’s time! Happy dating!
I’ve been using AFF for more than 4 months, have followed all the advice they and others give, and have yet to get even a single date or meeting. I’m a reasonably good looking guy, intelligent, educated, and sociable. I have to agree that you should be honest in your profile. Also the more pictures the better. Make sure your pictures are of good resolution so you can been seen very easily. Sometimes telling about your imperfections can also attract a mate as it shows your are willing to show you are not a perfect person.
