The site has also been on the forefront of research and development, always coming up with new features to benefit its users. Match has also been growing phenomenally, both naturally and through mergers and acquisitions. Now it appears they are expanding into China.

Yes, a new dating site; seems like they are sprouting like weeds in fertile, well-watered soils. Or maybe the dating site soils are really fertile. However, this one is not a niche dating site. It is more of a general dating site with a different or even unique perspective.

New Niche Dating Site For Those Who Can't Have Sex Launches

The niche dating site thing continues. There is a dating site for anything (or any interest) you can think of and some things you can’t even imagine. One of The latest additions to the niche dating scene is a site for people who can’t or won’t go all the way. Kind of strange, as many today date to get laid first and then relationships follow (it’s just the way it is). This is not that “let’s just be friends” thing which in many cases simply means “I am not interested in sleeping with you”. Maybe platonic relationships still do exist after all.

Okay, to be fair, there are people who can’t go all the way for religious, cultural, psychological, physical, or even personal reasons. The idea is actually not a crazy one but actually a noble one. Vanity. It's all vanity. Vanity of vanities. I am not a very religious person but I remember those words from Ecclesiastes (that's in the Bible for those who don't know) though not in that order (if my recall is right). The (online) dictionary defines vanity as "excessive pride in one's appearance, qualities, abilities, achievements, etc." There is a dating site lives up to that definition (at least the appearance part), BeautifulPeople.com, a dating site that claims to be for... you guessed it, beautiful people.

I am not sure whether it's about attention getting, free media publicity or both. But the site appears to get quite a bit of all that. It seems to have started when the site kicked out 5000 people in January of 2010 because they had put on some weight during the holiday season (see our post). Now the same site has been in the news again, having kicked out 30,000 people from the site:
